- The Simple Art of Killing a Woman

Another Innocent Woman Slain in Our "Safe" Society

Woke up this morning and the grim realization hit me like a hammer: women are being butchered, and we—men—are the executioners. It’s horrifyingly simple. We drink, we kill. We desire, we kill. We get angry, bored, frustrated—and we kill. It doesn’t matter the reason or the excuse, the outcome is always the same: women end up dead.

And when the blood spills, who do we blame? Not ourselves, no. We point the finger at them. "She provoked me. She drove me to it. She was asking for it." We convince ourselves that it’s their fault. They shouldn’t have been there, shouldn’t have accepted the drink, shouldn’t have gone up to that room. We create a world where they must tiptoe around our violence, and when they don’t, we make them pay with their lives.

We tell them to stay home, to avoid the night, to be modest, submissive, and invisible. But they don’t listen. They wear what they want. They walk where they please. They laugh too loudly and live too boldly. They are independent, defiant, unafraid—and for that, we punish them.

But the most chilling truth of all? Despite the violence we unleash on them, they rarely strike back. They don’t kill. Maybe it’s biology, maybe it’s some twisted sense of morality. Or maybe it’s because we’ve trapped them so completely that they can’t. And so, we continue our slaughter. We leave their bodies to rot, for daring to defy us. We dismember and bury them,  for disobedience.

The statistics are staggering, and yet, nothing has changed. We live in a society that prides itself on safety, but for women, there is no refuge—only death. And it’s men who deliver it.

And to add insult to the injury NO man is doing anything to help the vulnerable.
