Dear nationalist party candidate for the 1st district,

Dear nationalist party candidate for the 1 st district, I still feel disappointed after 15 years and 4 general elections and one of the thing that let me down most is that no one ever took the time to hear my story and since this is free press here is my contemplation of the so many times that I was stupid enough to keep voting you even if your party kept cheating me. I always held tourism at heart and I still do so when I got my qualifications I looked forward to join what those days was the 4 year full time Diploma in Higher Hotel Management at the Institute of Tourism Studies, which had to lead to a degree at the Malta University. Funnily enough when your party went back to power this course change to a 2 year course leading to just a simple certificate. I worked in all departments of the catering business and I worked in positions where whenever I could I promote the Maltese islands, then again in 1996 I voted for you even if I had to register for the vat when I only used to try ...

Man fills car, pays and forgets it at petrol station

Some people forget their wallets, while others continuously leave their glasses or housekeys on the dining room table. I know a guy who forgot to replace the fuel hose at a petrol station before driving off (the replacement cost of a breakaway hose is around 96 euros). Let's face it: we all forget stuff sometimes. People have a lot of serious issues on their minds, after all. Stuff like the upcoming local election, the introduction of the euro in malta and lot od other thoughts all weigh heavily on our minds. But you get the point: it's easy to get distracted these days. The perfect example of this occurred in Germany last Friday, when a man reportedly drove to a service station, filled up, paid for his purchase, and proceeded to walk home. Eventually, someone called the cops who tracked down the owner. He then hurried back to collect his ride that was sitting at the petrolstation where he left it. Hey, at least he didn't drive off like a jackass with the filler still attac...

Tony Blair formally told his senior ministers on that he will quit as Labour Party leader after 13 years and stand down as prime minister after 10 years in power. Gordon Brown's coronation as Tony Blair's successor will take place at a special Labour leadership conference in Manchester on Sunday 24 June. Stop the War, Stop sending teens at the front line... Change the policy - not just the leader

I'm writing this little blog from work, something which I shouldn't be doing but as happens most of the times whenever it rains even just a little bit I loose my home internet connection and it is easier to push an elephant thru a needle hole then getting hold of their help desk for assistance. Customer service from Melita!!! What service? Any how what I wanted to say is that I really enjoyed last night's performence of beyond the barricade, being the place, the show and most of all the beautiful company and hopefully I will blog about it very soon as soon as I manage to get hold of customer service to fix my problem and bearing as much as possible the stupid answering machine telling me that I have reached melita cable in a anglo maltese posh yet babish, blonde accent. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

It's funny that even though I made it a point that my next computer will be a mac, and now that I have bought a pc I am the only one to blame and I deserve to be stuck trying to fix all bugs whenever I install a new software, I will try to vow that no matter what happens my next device will be a MAC!!! why I did not get a MAC MINI when I could then whenever I start my pc i end up wasting my time answering questions which after all lead to nowhere then having to restart...
