A Briton has bought a date with Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson

- and it certainly wasn't cheap at £20,000.

The fan, known only by his online identity "bossnour", won a charity auction on eBay in support of Oxfam.

The mystery bidder will join the 23-year-old actress at the world premiere of her new film, He's Just Not That Into You, in July.

He or she will have their hair and make-up done and be chauffeured to the event with a guest.

They will then meet the star of Lost In Translation and The Other Boleyn Girl.

"This was a brilliant idea and has proved incredibly popular," said a spokesman for Oxfam.

"To get £20,000 for a 20-minute date and a pair of tickets to help us fight poverty is fantastic.

"All of this money will be used to help us fight poverty in countries all over the world."

The winner's full identity has not been revealed but according to their eBay profile, "bossnour" is based in Cheshire.
